There are two statement descriptors you can customize for your market:
Statement descriptor for your clients
This statement descriptor is what your clients see on their credit card statements when they purchase from your storefront. If this descriptor isn't customized, it will default to your market name. To change it, follow the steps below.
Step 1
Visit the Storefront > Info tab on your dashboard and locate the Statement Descriptor field.
Step 2
Enter your changes in the field and click Save Settings.
This descriptor needs to be between 5 - 22 characters long. It should very closely resemble your business name so your clients can recognize it.
Statement descriptor for your payouts
This statement descriptor is what you see on your bank statements for your payouts from Workify. If this descriptor isn't customized, it will default to Workify. To change it, follow the steps below.
Step 1
Visit the Payouts tab on your dashboard and locate the Bank Account Information section. Click the Edit Bank Account Info button.
Step 2
Enter your changes in the fields and click Save Bank Account Info.
